Simba Tegra 600 (Inspection Chambers and Manholes)
SIMBA TEGRA 600 is a 600 mm inspection chamber for use in public sewers as access for inspection, cleaning and maintenance. This revolutionary chamber offers advantages such as tight fitting, easy handling, shorter installation time, less maintenance resulting in cost effectiveness that plastic provides in contrast to traditional materials. What makes SIMBA TEGRA 600 so unique is the flexible connections at the base which allows a 15° variance in angle of the connected pipe.
Features and benefits
♦ Adjustable pipe connectors
Allowing a 15° free angular deflection of the connected pipe.
♦ Completely plastic in
Polypropylene, Corrosion resistant, durable.
♦ Corrugated single wall shaft
Provides excellent resistance to heavy traffic loads and ground movement.
♦ Low Weight
Easy to install, no cranes needed.
♦ Adjustable base connections in 6 different flow profiles
Any change of direction is possible, allowing minimal stock.
♦ Adjustable cover
Easy to install and adjust grating and cover to street surface level.
♦ Different pipe size connections, in different versions
Covers the most applied plastic pipe diameters for underground sewerage and drainage.
♦ Simple and reliable in-situ connection possible in the shaft
Additional pipe connections can be made.
♦ Non-porous smooth internal surface
Minimizing the risk of blockages. Easy to clean, low maintenance efforts required.
♦ Excellent Chemical resistance
Range
SIMBA TEGRA 600 base is available in different flow profiles.
Besides rubber ring sockets for smooth pipes, internal smooth sockets for also available for structured wall pipes. Installation depths range from 0.8 to 5 meters.
Fields of application
Simba Tegra 600 provides easy access for inspection, cleaning and maintenance in sewer and drainage systems in traffic and non-traffic areas, as well as in unstable soil conditions. Tegra 600 can withstand up to 25 metric tons wheel load (2.5 x testing load for traffic class SLW60)
Adjustable pipe connectors
The adjustable pipe connectors allow a free angular deflection of 7.5 from the centre line in each direction. So between two connections an angular variance can be obtained of 30° in total. Vertically the connecting pipes can be adjusted to any required gradient normally used in gravity pipe systems.
Flow profiles
- Straight 180° DN150 – DN400
- Bend 90° DN150 – DN300
- Bend 30° DN150 – DN300
- Bend 60° DN150 – DN300
- Cross 90° and 270° DN150 – DN300
- Tee 90° DN150 – DN300
Installation
- Prepare a suitable bedding material of a minimum of 10 cm.
